  Fraser Homestead: Donald Fraser (Mayme's father) built them a house next door to the "big house" in 1855 on Lower Water Street. James was a machinist by trade. He worked at Snowball's mill for years then later was First Engineer on the Ferry that crossed the Marimivhi (the Frances Ullock).
